With a solid koa top and layered koa back and sides, this versatile Grand Auditorium yields a bright, focused tone that matures with play into an increasingly warm, rich, sweet sound. Awesome guitar!

5 out of 5 stars Phillip E.

What a gorgeous guitar! I really appreciate the craftsmanship and attention to detail. Beautiful wood selection and great feel. I did have a string break within the first two weeks of ownership- which I find disconcerting since I was playing very carefully with this new beauty. Probably just an anomaly in the strings, we’ll see. Incredible sound with amazing sustain!

264ce-K DLX Perfect

5 out of 5 stars Joe D.

I have multiple 6 string guitars with 1& 11/16 in nuts and one is also a custom all KOA guitar as well. What sold me were two main items: the KOA sound on a 12 stringer and Taylor's neck playability. I had a 12 string guitar back in the 60's, and back then, they were like playing a military tank. This guitar is a joy to play and has a great sound and long sustain as well. The C class bracing does well on this 12 stringer. It came through perfect - everything worked and no issues at all.

Taylor model 264ce kdlx

5 out of 5 stars Scott S.

This guitar sound is like angels singing when played. The look of the guitar is as stunning as the sound it produces. I have not found anything negative to say about it. Bought it from sweetwater in person. I play 2 other 12 string taylors that where more expensive, and decided this guitar was the one for me.

No words to describe, how wonderful this guitar is.

5 out of 5 stars Joachim P.

I saw it on my favorite retailer's site and immediately fell in love with it. A few days later I had it in my hands. It just looks beautiful and feels incredibly good. It can be gripped wonderfully up to high frets, the sound is soft and yet full. I just love it.

Beautiful sound and extremely comfortable play!

5 out of 5 stars Scott S.

I’ve played 6 string for almost 30 years, yet this is my first 12 string!

The craftsmanship, the wood grain, and the tone are absolutely beautiful - what I expect with any Taylor. The thing that surprised me the most however, was the playability. The neck size, string-spacing, action, all make for any amazingly comfortable and surprisingly easy/natural feel coming from a 6 string. This was what I was most concerned about after trying out several other brands which were simply “uncomfortable” to play.

Absolutely love it - look, feel, and of course, sound!

264-K DLX-GREAT GUITAR!

5 out of 5 stars Ken C.

I expected less with the back and side being layered but I was so surprised after playing it in the store a few minutes, I bought it. The I already own a Martin J16 12 RGT (solid woods Sitka spruce/ East Indian rosewood) a Taylor PS52 (Solid woods Sinker redwood/Honduran rosewood), Mitchell Solid spruce top/layered mahogany. Love 12 strings and have been looking at different tone wood combinations. This Taylor 264-K has a great look, fantastic sound, good sustain and tone with good bass and mid tones. Bright, but not too bright. Very even sound acoustically Set up/action is great and plays easy. I look forward to playing this guitar as it ages. Comes with a brown hard case and ES2 pickup system, which I haven’t even tried yet. Sounds great playing it without an amp for small venue.
