This Grand Auditorium boasts back, sides and top of solid Hawaiian koa selected for its visual beauty as well as its punchy, lively musical response. You’ll hear a bold attack with an energetic tone profile that yields crisp trebles, a rich midrange and a low end that grows in over time. A rich gloss finish offers a lustrous feel and aesthetic that’s complemented by mother-of-pearl Fountain inlays, rosewood binding, a paua shell rosette and a dark-stained sycamore pickguard. It includes the ES2 acoustic pickup and a deluxe hardshell guitar case for storage and protection.

Beautiful guitar
A lot of people usually hate on Koa, but this is one of the nicest-sounding Koa guitars I’ve ever played. Looks gorgeous, plays easy, and it’s set up amazingly like every Taylor guitar!

Love at first sight
I lost the use of my right middle finger for to a power tool accident, and with it a lifelong love of playing classical guitar.
After a long period of grieving that loss, I decided to return to my strumming roots and treat myself to something really special that I could grow into, would be an heirloom for the family, and that expressed the very best in American craftsmanship. With a deep love of all things Hawaiian, when I laid my eyes on this guitar I was in love, and when I played it I just KNEW it was precisely what I was looking for. Bravo!!
After a long period of grieving that loss, I decided to return to my strumming roots and treat myself to something really special that I could grow into, would be an heirloom for the family, and that expressed the very best in American craftsmanship.
