Our all-koa Grand Concert has long been a player favorite for its combination of musical complexity and visual beauty. The K22ce, made with top, back and sides of solid Hawaiian koa, boasts an eye-catching aesthetic thanks to a lustrous finish treatment and organic visual appointments that honor koa's island origins. Tonally, this model serves up a blend of warm midrange frequencies and a clear, articulate top-end, making it a great choice for fingerstyle players. The koa top also adds a bit of natural compression to balance out an aggressive attack, which is helpful in recording situations. The K22ce ships with built-in ES2 electronics and a deluxe hardshell case.

Is a Left-Handed version available?
yes. This can be special ordered through any of our authorized dealers.
Has anyone else tried high tension nylon strings?
We don't recommend installing nylon strings on this or any steel string model. The top is braced much heavier than needed for nylon strings so it won't sound very good or intonate properly.
Is this guitar available with a slotted headstock?

Great guitar, Poor QC
It has a wonderful tone and plays well, however, I had to get it fixed by Andertons(who did a great job) because the nut was miss aligned. I was surprised that a guitar in this price range had quality issues of this nature. I had to make the two hour drive to Andertons, and again to collect. As I bought in store and didn’t have the packaging. I would reiterate Andertons were great, but I am disappointed In Taylor QC. I like what I read about the company and I like to support companies that are run by a person who was there from the start, but for four and a half thousand pounds I expect perfection.
