Does this model have back bracing, or does it use a rounded back?
No layered models have back bracing. They do have a greater radius to the back than solid wood models.
I live in a winter climate where humidity can get down to 25%- I have multiple guitars and a few Taylors and have humidifiers set up for the winter and it stays around 40-43%. My question- I assume laminate guitars are more forgiving in locales where humidity fluctuates?
No. These guitars have solid wood sounds boards and require the same level of care as all solid wood guitars. An average of 45%-55% is recommended.
built in tuner?
No. This guitar is equipped with the ES2 system which does not have a built in tuner. It does have a volume control as well as active treble and bass controls.

How is this guitar for finger picking?
It'll work for fingerpicking although most players focused on fingerpicking prefer a smaller bodied model, like a Grand Concert. Check out the 212ce Plus for something in this price range.

Great singer-songwriter companion.
C-Class bracing with a torrefied solid top, Taylor's thin UV gloss finish meets the GP body shape and magic happpens. This is not just my favorite guitar in the 100 and 200 series, but one of my favorite in the entire Taylor catalog... You also get the very nice Aerocase with this model! Find some clips on YouTube, amazing guitar, incredible singer-songwriter companion.

My First Taylor
I've played many brands and different models of guitar but this was my first Taylor. I am very impressed with the deep rich tones, the fit and finish is impeccable and I can play it comfortably for hours. I did my homework and it paid off
